Members of the public are also encouraged to line the procession route, which will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the area of Highway 55/State Street in Eagle. The sheriff’s office said “hundreds and hundreds” of marked units are expected to attend.

Significant traffic congestion and delays can be expected during the procession, which is expected to last about two hours.

“We encourage citizens along the route to listen to directions and to stand in safe places along the roadway,” the sheriff’s office said in a news release. “The stretch of roadway on Star Road between West Joplin and Chinden does not have safe places to stand; please avoid standing along this road.”

The procession route is scheduled as follows:

• Begin near Highway 55 and State Street in Eagle

• Travel west on State Street to Star Road

• Turn south on Star Road

• Travel south on Star Road to Chinden/Highway 20-26

• Turn west on Chinden/20-26 to Can-Ada Road

• Travel south on Can-Ada Road to Franklin Road

• Turn east on Franklin Road

• Travel east on Franklin Road to the entrance of the Ford Idaho Center

Parking and amphitheater entrance information for those who plan to attend Tuesday’s memorial have yet to be announced.
